Get in touch about a Yokiko puppy

We are based in Melbourne and raise a small number of planned Shiba Inu litters from our home. If you have a question about future puppies, the breed, or whether a Shiba might suit your household, you are welcome to reach out.

The best place to start depends on where you are

Ready to apply?

If you have researched the breed and would like to be considered for a future Yokiko puppy, the application gives us the information we need to respond properly.

Still learning about Shibas?

Shibas are loyal, clever, independent dogs, but they are not the right fit for every home. Start with the breed guide if you are still deciding.

Already part of the Yokiko family?

For existing puppy families, email is the best place for questions about settling in, feeding, grooming, training, or general care.

Before you ask

Should I contact you or fill out the puppy application?
If you are ready to be considered for a future Yokiko puppy, the application is the best place to start. If you are still researching the breed or have a general question, you can send us a message first.
How quickly do you reply?
We usually reply within 24 to 48 hours. During busy periods or when reviewing puppy applications, it may take a little longer.
Can I visit before applying?
Visits are by appointment only and are generally arranged with serious approved applicants. This helps keep our dogs and puppies safe, settled, and protected from unnecessary stress.
Do you have puppies available now?
Please check our Available Puppies page for the latest status. If we do not currently have puppies available, you can still apply to be considered for a future litter.
Do you work with interstate homes?
Interstate homes may be considered where the match is right. Transport can be discussed with approved families, but the puppy welfare always comes first.

Not sure where to start?

If you are serious about a future Yokiko puppy, start with the application. If you are still deciding whether the breed suits your home, read through the Shiba Inu guide first.
