Our Breeding Dogs

At Yokiko Shiba Inu, our breeding program is built around Panda and Bao Bao. We consider temperament, health information and breed characteristics when planning a litter, and we raise puppies in our home with careful socialisation. Bao Bao is the intended dam for the next breeding, subject to testing planned before breeding.

    Panda has completed DNA testing and hip scoring. Bao Bao's DNA testing and hip scoring are planned before breeding. Testing informs breeding decisions but cannot guarantee a puppy's health.

  • Breed Standard

    We look to the NIPPO Shiba Inu breed standard as a breeding reference when considering structure, temperament and breed characteristics. This does not imply NIPPO membership or endorsement.

  • Temperament & Socialization

    Our puppies are raised in our home with daily handling and socialization, preparing them for successful integration into their forever families.
